Bunita Marcus (born
May 5,
1952 in
Madison, Wisconsin) is a
composer, subtle energy healer, and former student of
Morton Feldman. Her nickname and professional pseudonym is Bunny (DrBunny).
In 1981 she received a Ph.D. in Composition from the
University at Buffalo, The State University of New York where she held the
Edgard Varèse Fellowship in Composition, and in the spring of 2000, Bunita Marcus was Composer-in-Residence at the California Institute of the Arts.
